This page explains what Voxglobe collects and why.
What we collect
- Account: your email address, your username, and your phone number if you verify one.
- Worlds: the name, season, description and location you enter, and the world we build from them.
- Payments: the amount, the on-chain reference and the transaction signature. We never see your wallet's private keys.
- Reports: who reported a world, and why.
Locations
Choose Area only and the public pin is rounded to within about 15 km. The exact spot you entered is private to your account. Choose Exact spot and anyone can see that location. Please don't publish a home address.
When you search for a street address, it's sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to find its coordinates.
Who processes your data
- Supabase: accounts and database
- Vercel: website hosting
- Resend: sign-in emails
- Anthropic: your world's name, season, description and coordinates are sent to Claude to design the world
- OpenStreetMap: address search
- CoinGecko: the SOL price, with no personal data sent
- Solana: payments are recorded on a public blockchain and can't be erased
Phone numbers
To stop abuse of the free world, we keep a one-way hash of each verified phone number, even after you delete your account. It can't be turned back into your number by anyone without our secret key.
Your choices
You can change your username or delete your account at any time from the account panel. Deleting your account removes your profile and worlds. Payment records on the blockchain stay public.
Published worlds, your username and your profile stats are public. Questions go to privacy@voxglobe.xyz.
